Centered on the fictional stories of these five women artists, The Art of Women is a film that celebrates the invaluable contributions of women in the arts by presenting five vignettes with a unifying theme of overcoming obstacles and societal conventions. Combined with an incendiary soundtrack featuring music from The Binges, Kittie, Jucifer, Paulina Logan, Jami and the Vaporizers, Cheap Perfume and a host of other bands and artists, The Art of Women is a visual and auditory piece that examines the institution of art in a way that few films have dared to venture.
